Last Orders at the Bar – Final Opening Weekend Celebrations

Come and join us in bidding a fond farewell to Unit 11 before we move over to our shiny new Brewery and Bar in the new year. We will be opening up our old brewhall, so we have plenty of space for everyone who wants to join in the celebrations. See our timeline from the very first brew through to our very last one in Unit 11 and leave us your thoughts and memories of your visits to our bar and brewery. Our owner, Greg, will We also have live music throughout Friday and Saturday, culminating in a DJ set and a late finish on the Saturday night.
Velo Bakery will be serving their delicious wood-fired pizzas throughout too.
Thursday 27th December, 5-11pm
Our very popular Quiz of the Year is on from 8pm.
Friday 28th December, 3-11pm
Live music from the fabulous Dead Dog Cider from 8pm – Pru on Bodhran and vocals and Mark on Guitar and vocals play a lively mix of English, Celtic and American Song – all powered by Pru’s mighty Bodhran!
Saturday 29th December, 12pm-midnight
Live music throughout the evening:
Holly Carter from 4pm – Multi-instrumentalist from Bristol specialising in fingerstyle guitar and pedal steel, with over seven years professional gigging and recording experience. Her style combines with echoes of a musical upbringing steeped in the likes of Tom Petty and Paul Simon to create a set that reads as an homage to a diverse collection of musical heroes.
Frankly Skanky from 7pm – a sacred dub roots reggae band from Stroud. What you hear is their own Bristol influenced, dubbed up version of rare roots reggae tunes they’ve discovered and loved. They love the music and will have you up on your feet dancing. DJs afterwards until late.
