The Stroud Brewery team are looking forward to a few days in London next month where we will be hosting the GO! Organic Beer Festival in Battersea Park, London on the 8th and 9th of September 2018, as part of the first ever GO! Organic Festival. The GO! Organic Festival promises to be an inspiring family-friendly weekend that celebrates organic and sustainability. There will be lots of delicious organic food and drink for festival goers to enjoy, accompanied by live music from bands including ‘The Hoosiers‘ and ‘The Magic Numbers‘. There will also be plenty to keep the kids happy including ‘Mr Bloom‘ and ‘Andy and the Odd Socks‘. The team behind GO! Organic is Diversified Communications UK Ltd and the festival was born out of conversations with industry friends with a passion for spreading the organic message and persuading people to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. Stroud Brewery are excited to have teamed up with fellow organic fans to host this exciting event.
GO! Organic Beer Festival will feature 25 of the best beers from UK organic breweries. There will be something for everyone from refreshing IPAs to malty rich stouts, plus gluten-free, vegan and even non-alcoholic beer, showcasing the number of quality, multi-award winning, organic beers in cask and keg.
Stroud Brewery’s founder and MD Greg Pilley said: “Since founding the brewery in 2006 my vision has always been to brew delicious beer with integrity – a thriving enterprise that would support the community, the environment and other local businesses. A strong motto of the company is to brew and drink delicious organic beers and bring people together, so this opportunity to host GO! Organic’s Beer Festival was not one to miss! We’re excited to work with all the other organic breweries taking part and show festival visitors what organic really means.”
Ruth Ayahudin, GO! Organic Festival’s marketing manager, explains: “At its heart, GO! Organic Festival is about people coming together to have fun and share their love of all things organic. It’s about seeing, sampling, tasting, experiencing, and discovering what’s out there, what’s new. Organic is not a niche market any longer – it’s not just the preserve of a certain type of consumer – it’s for everyone. The difference between this and so many other events is not just the high quality of the eclectic programme but also the fact that we are celebrating and promoting something, which is really important to so many of us. We have some amazing supporters and, as we want the event to be a great day out, which is accessible to everyone, we have priced it very competitively.”
During the weekend Greg Pilley will be hosting four beer tasting sessions where, together with brewer, Chloe, they will be discussing the beers and pairing them with Godminster cheese and Peelham Farm charcuterie. There will also be some fun and entertaining activities suitable for all the family.
The Organic Beer Festival will feature Stroud Brewery’s own range alongside beers from; Black Isle Brewery, Hepworth Brewery, Little Valley Brewery, Atlantic Brewery, St Peter’s Brewery, Butts Brewery and Untapped Brewery.
